BURNTWOOD Afternoon Cinema returns this month with a screening of Song Sung Blue.

It tells the story of a Milwaukee couple find an unexpected new direction when they reinvent themselves as a Neil Diamond tribute act.

A spokesperson said:

“Based on a true story, Song Sung Blue stars Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson in a warm, music-filled drama about partnership, second chances and the joy of performing.

“Gentle, uplifting and full of familiar songs, it’s well suited to a relaxed afternoon screening.

“Come along to our warm and friendly community cinema, where you’ll find good company and engaging conversation.”

Tickets for the screening at Burntwood Memorial Hall at 2pm on 21st April are available from the Lichfield Garrick website or by calling 01543 412121.
