A new community cafe has been launched for people living in Mile Oak and Fazeley.
Taking place every other Wednesday morning from 10am to 12 noon, it will offer local people the chance to talk through any community issues with representatives from the Bromford Living and Lichfield District Council, give them free access to the internet, and help with job searches.
Councillor Colin Greatorex said:
“We wanted to give people from Mile Oak, Fazeley and the surrounding area, a place to meet up and to get help and advice in an informal setting. We hope lots of people take advantage of the community café and will find it a useful resource.”
Julie Walker, Head of Neighbourhoods for Bromford Living, added:
“We are fully behind new ventures like this because they help people to sort out housing-related, financial and other problems and improve their chances of gaining skills and employment.
