Businesses are being invited to spread some festive cheer at the Lichfield Garrick.
The theatre is launchings its Christmas Ticket Appeal to allow people in the community who have faced challenges such as bereavement or illness over the past year.
The initiative sees business sponsor tickets to the annual pantomime.

“We believe in the power of the arts to uplift and heal, especially during the holiday season – and we know that with the generous support of our local businesses, we can make a real difference to the lives of those in our community.”

Since it began in 2017, the appeal has seen more than 500 families have been able to attend Lichfield Garrick’s pantomime thanks to the generosity of local businesses.
Among the companies to take part is Friary Shoes. A spokesperson said:
“We wanted to get involved as it is a great opportunity to support a fabulous local venue and also give something back to the community, especially at this time of year.
“We feel privileged to be able to support this.”

Tickets will be distributed through local charities, including Lichfield Foodbank, Spark Burntwood, Lichfield City of Sanctuary, Pathway Project, BLAST and One Lichfield.
