The mixture of one, two, three and four bedroom homes could be built on land at the Mount Road Industrial Estate.

The developers say the site – which would be accessed from New Road – is currently home to a number of buildings which have been vacant for a number of years.

A statement supporting the planning application added: “This development will bring an under-utilised brownfield site back into active, sustainable use.

“The housing mix will offer choice and promote a sustainable, balanced residential community.

Full details of the proposals can be seen on Lichfield District Council’s planning website.
