Plans have been drawn up for 28 new homes to be built on land in Lichfield.

The proposed site is south of the Tamworth Road alongside the Lichfield Canal and neighbouring properties including the Grade II listed Freeford House.
Developers hope to create a mix of two, three and four bedroom properties on the land.
A statement supporting the application said: “The design of the houses has been influenced to some degree by the surrounding properties.
“There is not one set design of the properties in the surroundings of the site, but the proposed development will draw on certain characteristics to form a link with the existing built development in the locality.”
Full details of the proposals are available on Lichfield District Council’s planning website, where residents can also comment.
