A FORMER EastEnders actor is among the stars confirmed for the 75th anniversary tour of The Mousetrap which is coming to Lichfield.
The hit show will be returning to the Garrick in March 2027.
Nicholas Bailey, who starred in the BBC soap opera as Dr Anthony Trueman, will take on the role of Major Metcalf.
He will be joined by TV star Susan Penhaligon, who has appeared in the likes of A Fine Romance, Emmerdale, Casualty and Doctor Who.
A spokesperson for the show said:
"Since 1952, Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap has captivated the world with silent clues, shifting shadows and the best-kept secret in theatre history.
"Now, the record-breaking classic embarks on its 75th anniversary tour across the UK and Ireland."
