Education trust confirms closure status of local schools as staff stage latest walkout

An education trust has confirmed the full or partial closure of a number of schools due to strike action.

AN education trust has confirmed the full or partial closure of a number of schools due to strike action.

Members of the National Education Union have walked out this morning (20th January) at Arthur Terry Learning Partnership sites in protest at planned redundancies.

It is the third day of industrial action, with more days planned tomorrow and Thursday.

Locally, St Michael’s CE Primary School will shut, while Nether Stowe School, St Chad’s CE Primary School, Scotch Orchard Primary School and Anna Seward Primary School will be partially closed as a result of the strikes.

However, The Bridge Academy in Lichfield and Greysbrooke Primary School in Shenstone are open as usual.

  • 27th January
  • 28th January
  • 29th January
