A group is inviting families to attend an event in Lichfield calling for climate justice.
The Mother’s Rebellion gathering will be held outside Lichfield Cathedral from 11am to midday on 18th November.
A spokesperson said:
“In the face of the climate crisis and how it affects children, we will not look away.
“In marking the World Children’s Day we demand that those in power respect the Convention of the Child and act accordingly to mitigate the rampant climate emergency.
“Mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunties, friends and children will sit down quietly in a circle. Although this event is organised by mothers, dads, grandads and all are welcome.”
