Five people have been arrested after a high speed car chase ended in Fazeley.
Police were chasing a suspected stolen VW Golf when it was involved in a crash on Lichfield Street.
The people in the car attempted to escape but were tracked down with help from police dogs and an air support unit.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “A 20-year-old man from West Bromwich was arrested on suspicion of theft and failure to stop.
“In addition, four men, aged 17, 18 and two aged 21, and all from the Birmingham area, were arrested on suspicion of theft.
“All five men remain in police custody and enquiries are ongoing.”
