FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a blaze at a business in Fradley.
Crews were called to Common Lane at 4am today (3rd July) following reports of smoke coming from a building.
A Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said:
“Five people were taken to hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.
“The fire was contained by a sprinkler system and we used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to fully extinguish a fire inside an industrial oven.
“The fire was deemed to have been caused accidentally, by an electrical fault.”
