A LOCAL football club has raised £850 for a cancer charity.
ADC Fradley generated the funds by selling bracelets in aid of Help Harry Help Others.
The charity was inspired by Harry Moseley who battled an inoperable brain tumour until his death aged 11.
Help Harry Help Others now works to provide free support to adults, children and families affected by all types of cancer via practical, emotional and financial help, including grants for those in hardship and a drop-in support centre.
A spokesperson for AFC Fradley said:
“The club’s spirit shown in raising £850 for Help Harry Help Others has been truly heart-warming.
“Knowing this amount covers a full day of vital support services for families facing cancer fills us with enormous pride.
“Supporting a charity built on Harry’s inspiring legacy makes this one of the most meaningful things our club has ever done.”
Harry’s mum Georgina Moseley added:
“We are deeply grateful for the generous support of AFC Fradley football club and everyone who bought a bracelet.
“These funds help keep our drop-in support services running and ensure families affected by cancer can access practical and emotional help without cost or delay.
“Harry’s vision was always to help others, and community efforts like this ensure his legacy continues to make a real difference.”
