The former leader of Burntwood Town Council has promised the area will get a neighbourhood plan it can be proud of.
The document will help shape future development in the area, but there had been criticism from the Labour opposition group about the lack of progress.

But Cllr Richard Mosson, who led the Conservatives until earlier this month, vowed that it would come to fruition.
“It is moving forward,” he said. “I promised to deliver on the neighbourhood plan for Burntwood and I intend to do just that.
“I have no doubt that it will be a neighbourhood plan to be proud of.”
Labour’s Cllr Sue Woodward said she hoped Burntwood would take full advantage of the opportunity to shape its own future.
“This is a chance to shape the future of issues such as housing, roads and infrastructure,” she said. “I hope we don’t sit on our hands on the neighbourhood plan.”
