AN exhibition in Lichfield will be taking people back to iconic cartoons and characters.

The Hub at St Mary's is hosting Radical Rewind – The 80s and 90s Toonverse of Lee Bradley from 22nd July to 26th September.

The showcase will explore a golden era of animation.

A spokesperson for the venue said:

"This free exhibition celebrates the iconic era of bold lines, heroic action and the Saturday morning cartoons that defined a generation.

"From the high-octane energy of Transformers to the mystical realms of He-Man and the Thundercats, Lee Bradley’s work breathes new life into the memories from the 2D screen.

"It is more than just an art show – it is a time machine back to the golden age of animation."

Lee will be at the venue from 10am to 2pm on 25th July, and will also be running a series of masterclasses and workshops during August.

"From family-friendly sessions to workshops for young artists and adults, there’s something for all ages and abilities."
