Grammy-nominated jazz vocalist Stacey Kent will stop off at the Lichfield Garrick as part of her 2018 tour.
With two million album sales behind her, the singer’s first orchestral album, I Know I Dream, will be released this year, featuring a number of songs co-written with Nobel prize-winner Kazuo Ishiguro.
Her performance in Lichfield on May 22 will be the only stop in the region during the tour.
A spokesperson said: “This is a very special appearance and a rare opportunity for fans to see Stacey live on stage with her five-piece band.
“Stacey is a jazz singer in the mould of the greats, with a legion of fans worldwide and a host of honours and awards.”
