A GYM brand has stepped up to become the headline sponsor of the Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park.
The support of Jetts, which has a branch on Eastern Avenue, will ensure the free community event can go off with a bang once again on 5th September.
Thousands of people are expected to gather for the outdoor celebration which will feature music from the British Police Symphony Orchestra, guest soloists and the City of Lichfield Concert Band before a firework finale.
Cllr Phil Whitehouse, cabinet member for operational services, parks and waste at Lichfield District Council, said:
"Proms in Beacon Park is one of those events that brings our communities together and showcases the very best of Lichfield District.
"Every year, thousands of people come together to enjoy an evening of fantastic live music in one of our most beautiful parks.
"We're incredibly grateful to Jetts for coming on board as our headline sponsor. As a business that shares our ambition of encouraging healthier, more active lifestyles, they're a great fit for an event that brings our community together.
"It's also fantastic to see them investing in Lichfield so soon after opening their new gym."
Aaron Crowder, gym manager at Jetts in Lichfield, said:
"We have a strong community within the club, and we are keen to contribute to the bigger community of Lichfield.
"Our vision at Jetts is to be involved in anything to do with sport that happens in Lichfield. Although the Proms is not sport-related, we are proud to be sponsoring an event that brings the whole community together."
