POLICE are hunting thieves who tried to steal a car in Lichfield.
The BMW was parked at a residential property at Baker Way on the St John’s Grange estate when the incident happened at around 3.45am on Sunday (20th July).
Officers say three people arrived in a light grey hatchback-style vehicle.
They managed to gain entry to the BMW, but had not started the engine when they were disturbed and fled the scene.
