Officers were called to the country park last night for what they said was a “minor disorder involving weapons”.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson added: “Enquiries are ongoing and nobody has been seriously injured or harmed.

“There will be an increased police presence this evening but we would like to encourage the community to use the park as normal.”
