A LOCAL junior football team has netted a new sponsorship.
Chasetown Lionesses under 11 girls have seen new funding for kit and training equipment provided by McDonald’s franchisee Mike McCollum.
The operator of the local restaurants of the chain on Conduit Street and at Wall Island said:
“Grassroots football is vital for our community, which is why we sponsor local teams through each restaurant.
“I am delighted to support Chasetown Lioness under 11 girls with their new kit and training equipment.
“This support means they can continue to keep their membership fees low and give access to youth football, regardless of background or ability.
“I look forward to seeing the team enjoy playing their upcoming fixtures.”
