Libraries in Lichfield and Burntwood are celebrating Local and Community History Month with a range of events.
The project is designed the encourage people to take a greater interest in the history of their area and their families.
Highlights will include history walks, tracing your family tree sessions, rag rug making and antiques road shows.
County Councillor and Cabinet Member for Communities and Culture Ben Adams said:
“These events taking place within the Lichfield are a great way for all the family to find out more about the local community. I do hope everyone will take this fantastic opportunity to visit their local library.”
Libraries taking part include Lichfield, Burntwood, Shenstone and the mobile library service.
