Lichfield and Burntwood roadworks round-up (February 28-March 6)

Lichfield and Burntwood drivers are being reminded about roadworks being carried out across the region.

Full list of work:

  • A5013 Croxall Road, Alrewas – temporary two way traffic signals required for tree cutting works. March 8-9 (9.30am-4pm).
  • Boney Hay Road, Burntwood – temporary multi way lights required for South Staffordshire Water works. Until April 16.
  • Redwood Drive, Burntwood – temporary two way traffic light required for footway resurfacing. Until March 7 (9am-3.30pm).
  • Rugeley Road, Burntwood (Pooles Way junction) – three way temporary traffic signals to allow for water work. Until March 2 (9.30am-3.30pm)
  • Lower Lane/Chorley Road (from the junction with Lodge Lane to Maple Brook pumping station) – temporary road closure required for water main renewal works. Until March 6 (9am-4pm).
  • Alrewas Road, Kings Bromley. Two way temporary traffic lights to lay a gas service in the road. March 1-4.
  • Little Hay Lane, Little Hay (near to the junction of Green Barnes Lane) – temporary stop and go boards required for tree cutting to allow access to overhead power lines. Until March 2 (8am-4pm).
  • Walsall Road, Muckley Corner (South of Muckley Corner) – temporary road closure required for highway improvements to A5 trunk road. Until March 1. (from 8pm-6am).
