Burntwood St Matthews blasted seven goals to beat Erdington Star in the Premier Division of the Lichfield and Walsall District Football League.
The 7-2 victory put them three points clear of Pelsall Villa Colts, who beat Farmer Johns 3-1.
Meanwhile, in Division One Lichfield Social B were on the end of a thumping at Freemans, who netted nine goals without reply.
