Presenter Eric Knowles and experts Jonathan ‘JP’ Pratt and Nick Hall joined auctioneer Richard Winterton at his Fradley Park salerooms on Wednesday (17th October) as the red and blue teams battled to see who had bought the best bargains.

Each programme sees two teams of two spend an hour at an antique fair with £300 to spend, assisted by an expert. Purchases are subsequently taken to auction.

“We had a great time filming Bargain Hunt with Eric, Nick and JP – not forgetting everyone on the teams and the super camera crew,” said Mr Winterton.

“Thanks to everyone who came along to watch the auction action.”

Segments for four programmes were filmed in Lichfield on Wednesday. The episodes are expected to be broadcast early next year.
