A familiar sight will disappear from Lichfield’s streets from today.
The Lichfield Business Improvement Support Officers have been in place since 2018, but will now hang up their uniforms after the decision was taken to end the service.
The team were funded by a business levy paid by city centre companies, and worked on projects designed to reduce the fear of crime.
A post on social media confirmed the news.
