LICHFIELD’S battle to beat the drop will continue when they welcome Tamworth this weekend.
Adam Braddock’s men have endured a difficult campaign in the South Staffordshire County League Premier Division, winning just two of their 13 fixtures so far.
But they face a Tamworth 2nds outfit who have not fared much better and find themselves two places above Lichfield.
The city side will be looking to banish the memory of a 117-run loss against Pelsall in their last outing.
Play is due to get underway at 12.30pm on Saturday (19th July).
