Lichfield British Superbike star Gary Mason believes another strong testing session has set him up perfectly for the new season.
The city rider joined MSS Colchester Kawasaki team-mate Stuart Easton to put the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R bike through its paces for the last time ahead of the season opener at Brands Hatch next weekend.
Both riders completed full race distances and posted competitive lap times.
And the Lichfield racer believes the bike has plenty of potential. He explained:
“I’m really happy with all testing so far. Spain was great, first time getting to ride the new ZX10R and since then the last two tests we’ve had the new superbike engine which gave it more power and it was working the electronics and suspension more. Literally every lap we improved!
“I can’t wait for Brands as that’s when all the hard work matters.”
