A LICHFIELD business has rolled out its first ever electric delivery vehicle.
Tippers will use the KIA PV5 for local deliveries from its branch at Britannia Enterprise Park.
A company spokesperson said:
“With a range of approximately 260 miles, this van will be charged by electricity generated from the solar panels on our roof, making it a truly sustainable and eco-friendly addition to our fleet.
“We’re also the first independent builders merchant in the Midlands to add an electric vehicle to our delivery fleet.
“It is another step forward as we continue investing in the future.”
