Lichfield Cathedral has a new online presence thanks to a donation from a group of supporters.

The medieval building’s website has been redesigned after the Friends of Lichfield Cathedral provided funding.
The site features a range of information on the Cathedral, including the latest music list and a booking system for people to see the Staffordshire Hoard when it visits this summer.
A spokesperson said:
“The Friends have been part of the Cathedral community since 1937 and there are currently approximately 1,200 members who enjoy being part of this group. The members enjoy fellowship, raising funds and also have the opportunity to take part in events and visits that are organised.
“Over the last 20 years, the Friends have been an invaluable part of Cathedral life and their fundraising efforts have been particularly important for projects such as the East End Appeal, the installation of the rising altar podium in the Nave Sanctuary and now of course the new Cathedral website.”
