LICHFIELD City will switch their attention to the cup as they return to midweek action.
Ivor Green’s men welcome Newcastle Town for a Staffordshire Senior Cup clash tonight (1st October).
They go into the game on the back of a 3-1 win over Rugby Town at the weekend.
Newcastle, meanwhile, suffered a 1-0 defeat at Clitheroe in their previous outing.
Kick-off at the Trade Tyre Community Stadium is at 7.45pm. Admission is £5.
