Lichfield City boss Russell Dodd will be looking for a confidence boost for his side as they take a break from league action.
The club have endured a tough start to life in the Midland Combination Premier Division, picking up just six points from their first seven games.
But they will have a chance to get back to winning ways when they take on Division Two pacesetters Barnt Green Spartak at home in the Les James Challenge Cup tomorrow (September 1).
The visitors have been impressive form so far this season, conceding just three goals in their opening six league encounters.
However, Dodd’s Lichfield side will be expected to progess in the competition.
Meanwhile, Lichfield City’s second string will travel to Loughborough University in the Challenge Trophy.
Both fixtures kick-off at 3pm.
