Lichfield City Ladies will be forced to wait until next weekend to get their league season up and running.
They had been due to travel to Newcastle Town yesterday (8th September) for their opening fixture, but saw the game postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Their attention will now turn to a home clash with Bournville on 15th September.
