LICHFIELD City Ladies suffered a fourth straight defeat as they were beaten by Walsall Women.
The Trade Tyre Community Stadium side had been desperate to bounce back to winning ways after seeing themselves slip away from the top of the West Midlands Regional Women’s League Division One North table.
But Walsall Women scored the only goal of the game in the first half when Charlotte Turner powered an effort home from the edge of the box.
