Train passengers in Lichfield have been enduring a day of frustration on the cross city line.
A number of services throughout the day have been cancelled to and from Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley stations.
Rail replacement buses were also been introduced as London Midland battled with the impact of the recent weather, citing “poor rail conditions” as one of the issues it was facing, before later in the afternoon, congestion and a train fault at Duddeston added to the issues affecting services.
Passengers affected are able to claim compensation for delays via London Midland’s website.
