Beacon Park will go back in time for May Day celebrations.

Lichfield District Council’s park rangers are hosting a Victorian-themed event at Museum Gardens between 11am and 3pm on May 4.
The celebrations will include maypole dancing workshops and a range of traditional games, including a coconut shy.
There will also be a traditional Punch and Judy show at 12.30pm.
Neil Turner, Lichfield District Council’s Director of Leisure & Parks, said: “Last year’s May Day festivities were really popular, and we hope even more people will join us for this vintage event, enjoying all the activities on offer.”
The event is free to enter, with a small fee for some of the activities.
