A Lichfield hairdressing business is celebrating after being shortlisted for two national awards.
Anthony John Salons is up for Best Independent Hair Salon and Best Client Experience at the National Hairdressers Federation awards.
Tony Walmsley, owner of the business based at the Heart of the Country centre, said he was delighted by the news.
“There are only eight categories and we have been selected from the whole of the UK for two,” he said. “It’s a testament to the great team we have, who constantly strive to deliver their very best.
“The Best Independent Salon is the big prize, but for me the best customer experience award is what matters because that’s what we are here for – to create perfect hair while our clients enjoy some ‘me-time’.
“Spending up to half a day having your hair done must be an experience and that’s what we pride ourselves on. We want our clients to look forward to the time they spend with us, as soon as you walk into our salon we want our clients to feel relaxed, pampered and care free.”
The company will find out if it has won at an awards ceremony later this month.
