LICHFIELD’S battle to salvage their league season continues this weekend as they welcome Walsall.
The city side find themselves rock bottom of the South Staffordshire County League Premier Division after winning just two of their 15 games this season.
But Walsall are among the sides at risk of being dragged into the bottom two after a nine-wicket defeat against Hammerwich last time out.
Play is due to get underway this afternoon (2nd August) at 12.30pm.
