LICHFIELD'S bid to secure a top half finish will continue this weekend when they head to Penn.
The two sides are separated by just one place, with the city men knowing a victory this afternoon (1st August) would allow them to leapfrog their hosts in the South Staffordshire County League Division One.
Lichfield ended a poor run of form in their last outing when they secured a seven-wicket victory at Milford Hall 2nds.
Play is scheduled to get underway at 12.30pm.
