LICHFIELD'S Finlay Lines produced a commanding performance to secure victory in Belgium
The city karting ace was competing in the RMC Euro Trophy in Genk.
The event got off to the perfect start as Lines topped the timing sheets in qualifying, securing overall pole position for the heat races and laying the foundation for the rest of the weekend.
Starting from the front, he demonstrated impressive consistency throughout the heats, claiming victory and a second place in the first two outings.
He returned to the top in heat three, ensuring he headed into the final as the driver to beat – and Lines delivered once more as he controlled the pre-final from lights to flag to secure pole for the showpiece race.
The city speedster fell back to fourth at the start, but kept his composure to return to the lead by lap six and cross the line ahead of the pack to secure top spot on the podium and wrap up a dominant weekend.
