Lichfield Ladies RFC battled it out with teams from across the country in the Singha Women’s Premiership 7s this weekend.
They made it into the Plate Final where Lauren Massey gave them an early lead aainst Darlington Mowden Park Sharks.
But their opponents battled back to build up a 14-5 advantage.
Lichfield battled back to score two tries and sneak in front with a little over two minutes left to play.
But a late try was enough to earn victory for the Sharks.
