A Lichfield man has been jailed for three years after drugs were found at his home.
Jamie Lewis, aged 27, was sentenced at Stafford Crown Court to three years for being concerned in the supply of cocaine and a further six months to be served concurrently for possession with intent to supply cannabis.
Lewis, of Stowe Street, Lichfield, received a further three months for breaching a suspended sentence order, totalling 39 months’ imprisonment. He pleaded guilty to the offences at an earlier hearing.
Lewis also pleaded guilty to having no insurance and driving while under the influence of drugs, receiving an endorsement and a further seven day sentence to be served concurrently. He was disqualified from driving for 56 months.
The court heard that his Stowe Street address was searched in November 2017 and cannabis found. Lewis was stopped by officers in Horninglow Road, Burton, on 9th February this year and gave a positive drugs swipe.
Sergeant Karen Green, of Lichfield Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We will not tolerate drug-dealing in Lichfield. If you suspect drug dealing in your community please call us on 101.”
