LICHFIELD Women couldn’t repeat their win at Barnsley a few weeks ago as they were narrowly beaten 26-24 in the reverse fixture.
The result means that they remain fourth in the table.
Full back Molly Draycott contributed 19 of her side’s points with three tries and two conversions, while winger Amy Edmondson added the fourth try, as they earned two bonus points.
Elsewhere, the 2nds remain fourth after being handed a home walkover.
