Lichfield passengers warned as train dispute hits London Midland services

Lichfield rail passengers are being warned to expect disruptions on the rail network this weekend as a union dispute continues to hit London Midland services.

The train drivers’ union ASLEF is in dispute with the train operator on the issue of overtime working.

And the row means that a weekend services will be hit.

Tomorrow (April 2) the following services have been cancelled:

  • 0637 Lichfield Trent Valley to Crewe
  • 0940 Lichfield Trent Valley to London Euston

Meanwhile services on the cross-city line to Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley stations have also been hit with buses being used as services will only run as far as Blake Street on Sunday (April 3).
