A Lichfield business has been named the best independent restaurant in Staffordshire.
The Boat Inn won the accolade at the 2018 Taste of Staffordshire Awards.
It beat off competition from The Moat House at Acton Trussell and Delhi 6 in Little Aston.
Other local successes saw Burntwood-Based Clive’s Wines finish as runner-up in the drinks manufacturer of the year competition, while Netherstowe House finished third in the Afternoon Tea of the Year category.
