Lichfield speedster Gary Mason admits the pressure is on him to put in a strong performance as the British Superbikes Championship heads to Oulton Park.
The MSS Colchester Kawasaki rider had a mixed weekend in the season opener at Brands Hatch as team-mate Stuart Easton stole the plaudits.
But with Oulton Park more suited to his style, the Lichfield rider is hoping for better this time out.
Mason said:
“I’m really looking forward to Oulton though as I love the track and seeing how the ZX10R performs there. Last year we qualified 5th but ran into some problems in the race so the new bike should go well I think.
“I need to walk away from Oulton with some strong results.”
