A Lichfield runner has produced a peak performance to win a race.
Daniel Floyd embarked on the Peak Birthday Bash race in the Peak District last weekend.
The 48 mile event takes in some of the spectacular views of the area as participants battle the challenges of steep elevations and terrain.
Lichfield Running Club member Daniel took first place in the event, just ahead of team-mate Matt Orford who scooped second spot.
