Lichfield Superbikes star Gary Mason is aiming to enjoy a Bank Holiday boost as he heads for Cadwell Park.

It’s the second time the MSS Colchester Kawasaki team have taken on the twisting Lincolnshire circuit so far this season.

And the city rider is hoping to capitalise on a strong qualification in the team’s earlier visit – but is hoping the weekend doesn’t end up quite as painful after a crash saw him ruled out.

He explained:

“It’s a very good circuit for me because it’s a rider’s track like Oulton and I always go well at those circuits. It’s a good track for the bike too and we know it works well there so confidence is high. We just need some good luck for once because we know what we’re capable of.

“We can start from a strong position because we know what we did earlier in the year, we’ve got good data and so our aim is to carry on where we left off – just without the crash!”
