Solomon Morris died on Saturday (16th November), aged 14.

The Friary School student’s family have launched a fundraising page to help pay for his funeral and support mental health charities for children.

Headteacher Matt Allman said the news had hit the school community hard.

“This is desperately sad news and our thoughts are very much with Solomon’s family at this time,” he said.

“The family is a special one in our school and Solomon’s death has affected us all profoundly.

“He will be missed terribly by both students and staff.”
