Lichfield’s popular ghost tours are returning in time for Halloween.
People will be able to join Green Badge Guides as they go to some of the city’s spookiest spots learning about the legends of the Guildhall prison cells and the Market Square burnings.
Councillor Helen Fisher, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet member for tourism, said: “As the nights draw in and the temperature drops, this is the perfect time to discover the dark and mysterious side of Lichfield – if you’re brave enough!”
The walks are rounded off with a visit to a local pub for a glass of mulled wine and a hot sausage roll. The tours will run from 7pm to 8.30pm on:
- October 19, 21, 28, 29
- November 10, 18, 19, 25
- December 3, 7, 9, 14
