A man has been arrested in Fazeley after a police pursuit.
The incident began when a Grey Mercedes A180D Sport driving on false plates after being stolen from the Walsall area in May failed to stop for officers before crashing into other vehicles and a lamppost.
The driver was arrested at around 3.35pm yesterday (June 7) on Buxton Avenue in Fazeley, after the chase which also saw the National Police Air Service assisting officers on the ground.
A 26-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, theft of a motor vehicle and dangerous driving. He has since been released on conditional bail.
