A pub worker has been attacked by robbers.
The man was at the Hollybush in Little Hay when the raiders struck at 10.25pm on January 4.
A member of staff, who did not wish to be named, told LichfieldLive the raiders had been armed with crowbars.
“All of the staff feared they were going to be attacked,” the worker said. “They beat the manager and raided the safe.”
A Staffordshire Police spokesman added: “The offenders entered the pub and stole cash.
“During the incident a male member of staff was assaulted. Fortunately he was not injured but he was left shaken.”
