A MAN has been jailed after police found cocaine hidden in a car in Tamworth.
Ergys Mici, 23, from Coventry, was sentenced to one-year-and-ten-months in jail at Stafford Crown Court.
He had admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine, acquiring, using or possessing criminal property, driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving a using a motor vehicle on a road or in a public place without third party insurance.
He was also disqualified from driving for one-year-and-eleven-months.
The case came after Mici was stopped in a black Audi A4 on Claremont Road on 7th April following a suspected drug deal on Masefield Drive.
When officers searched Mici, they found £40 in the pocket of his hooded top. An iPhone and £275 in cash were found inside the car, along with a sandwich bag containing four snap bags of cocaine concealed within the interior lighting electrics box.
